Trampolines are SUPER FUN! They’ve been around for a long time, and you likely have childhood memories (for better or worse) that are deeply intertwined with time spent on a trampoline. What you probably don’t remember, though, is how hard your parents worked to keep that trampoline safe for you and your friends. As a homeowner, you may be all too familiar with that now. You may own a trampoline for your kids or grandkids. What are some things you can do to make sure your trampoline is a safe space for them?
First, make sure you’re familiar with the manufacturer’s instructions. Is there a maximum number of children allowed on the trampoline at once? Is it recommended to install a net around the trampoline? Is the ground around the trampoline soft and clear of any debris or objects that could cause some damage? Are all the springs on the trampoline intact?
